History of the
Buckinghamshire Archaeological Society
Being founded in 1847, the Buckinghamshire Archaeological Society is one of the oldest in the country. Consequently the B.A.S. has a considerable and interesting history, which has been recorded in two parts as articles published in the Society journal The Records of Buckinghamshire and have been provided on this web site as downloadable documents below (PDF files).
