The society will be setting up market stalls around the county to celebrate 170 years since its foundation in 1857. Come and discover how we work to promote Buckinghamshire's history and heritage.


Come help sort out our ‘muddled museum’


Our ‘Muddled Museum’ will appear in four marketplaces during summer 2018. This is a chance to handle historic objects – prehistoric flints, Roman and medieval pottery, Tudor querns, 19th-century clay pipes... all sorts. Then we mix them all up and ask you to sort them out. It's a great way to learn about history and archaeology. Come along and try it!
