The vast majority of the society's collection of hundreds of medieval and post-medieval documents were passed over during the 20th century to the County Record Office, today the The Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies, where they are available to researchers. The archives remaining in the Society’s care in the Muniment Room in the basement below the society's Library at the County Museum now consist mostly of collections donated by past members – the results of their researches in Buckinghamshire, together with topographical prints, maps (other than estate maps), election material and various miscellaneous items. Details of these are given in this on-line catalogue. The catalogue is held as a series of document files, which can be downloaded and either read on-screen, saved locally to your computer or laptop for future reference, or printed out on your local printer.
